Lunch at Dior's

I am all for Breakfast at Tiffany's, but I decided to have Lunch at Dior's instead!

After locking myself home in order to finish an assignment (hence why I have not been active on the blog), I decided to treat myself with a day out in central London. I met a good friend of mine at Dior Cafe at Harrods for a late lunch. The place looks exquisite and I felt like a star with the way members of staff treated us. I will definitely be returning there as soon as my second assignment is finished!
It was a wonderful day and it felt very good to be back in London.

Happy Norouz (Iranian New Year)

This is my favourite time of the year, it is officially the first day of Spring.

So I'm writing this post to say Happy Norouz (Iranian New Year) to everyone especially those back in Iran! My best childhood memories were around this period of time. Our New Year is filled with wonderful traditions from the Zoroastrian era.
Since 2008, I have spent New Years away from my beautiful country as I had school and/ir exams. I hope I can return for New Years after I graduate and reunite with the wonderful people of Iran.
I hope 1392 will be a wonderful year for everyone, filled with love, laughter, health and happiness.

Weekend at Kiana's...

It is officially Saturday which means that the weekend has begun. Now I usually tend to take it easy on the weekends, but seeing as the end of the semester is fast approaching, I guess I have no choice but to study and work, great...

Although it's Friday night and I've stayed at home, I've been thinking about how much I miss photography and so I wanted to share some of my work with you. I hope I can have time to pursue my passion for it once my summer begins. Let me know what you think.

The New Look

Seeing as this is my very first blog, I am always experimenting and changing the website, from colours to fonts.
This time I decided to go for a classis colour combination, grey and pink - rather than pink on pink. Just to let all you wonderful readers know that this is not the final website as I am currently working on more ideas and I will keep you all posted...

A Bored Brunette

So it is Saturday night and it has been snowing in Norwich all day. My plans for tonight was to go to the gym, but after seeing how bad the weather was I decided to stay in. I know it's bad and I should really get in shape for my birthday next month, but what the heck, hopefully a morning gym session will do me good. 

Anyway, at one point I got so bored that I took this photo of myself, now this is what you guys should know about me, I don't necessarily like to take 'selfie' photos, so this is an indication of how bored I was... HELP - give me some movie suggestions (maybe a feel good movie?).

Don't Worry Be Sexy

I've just recently purchased a Style Stalker top from Rtister that I will be wearing to the gym! As you can see in the photo below, the top says "DON'T WORRY BE SEXY" and I think this is a great way to motivate myself when I'm at the gym and I'm feeling a tad tired.
As my birthday is coming up soon I wanted to get back in shape and in my opinion the first step to motivate yourself for the gym is to have the perfect kit.

Tom Odell

Today is the only day where I do not have any lectures. So instead of catching up with my sleep, I woke up early in order to get tickets to see Tom Odell in October at my university (University of East Anglia)!

His songs are all I listen to! If I choose to listen to one of his songs, it will definitely be on repeat. I think he's very talented and has a wonderful voice. He has also worked closely with Burberry (my all time favourite brand) with his song 'Another Love' being featured in their campaigns and has sang in two of their fashion shows!

Vogue Festival

It is that time of year again when some of the most influential people in the fashion industry attend the Vogue Festival! It has always been my dream to be able to attend an event like this. As a person who is very interested in the fashion industry and has hope to become a fashion photographer in the future, as soon as I realised that Mario Testino will be speaking at the festival I knew that I have to attend. With the help of my beloved credit card, I was able to purchase tickets to see him as well as the Behind the Scenes of a Vogue Cover Shoot where Alexandra Shulman, Lucinda Chambers, Sam McKnight, Charlotte Tulbury and model Cara Delevingne discuss the process of a Vogue cover shoot.
